Fresh Fools is an Adelaide based dance crew which first formed in mid 2004 through a mutually shared love of dance.
From the very first competition entered they were bound for success taking out first place in the Below Zero bboy competition. This victory signalled the beginning of a long and fruitful career that continues to this day.
Since then the dance has taken them all over country and globe competing in notable Australian competitions such as the Oz Bboy Champs, Step That Game Up, All City 6, Raw to the Floor, Battle State, Battle Down Under, outbreak 09, Fresh Sox anniversary jam and countless other local and interstate competitions with the majority of them being either taken out by the crew or leaving them in the top three rankings.
The crew originally consisted of three different styles, Popping, Locking and Bboying but in recent times they have begun to expand their horizons with new members.
Penelope Shum, one of our newer members has an extensive back ground in her unique style of Urban choreography as well as many other styles which she has been taught and studied from world re noun dancers including Dave Scott (the choreographer of “You go served”, “stomp the yard” and “step up 2”) Lil C (one of the creators of Krump) and Napoleon and Tabitha Dúmo (judges of so you think you can dance America) just to name a few.
