In the event a Continental Games for Oceania is held in 2023 consisting of a Breaking category, the Australian Breaking Selection Committee (ABSC) may select up to two bgirls and two bboys to represent Australia. ABSC rules and regulations
Or
In the event a Continental Championships for Oceania is held in 2023, the winners will receive a spot directly into the Top16 for the 2024 Olympic Games
Or
If a Continental Games or Championships is not held for Oceania in 2023, Australians will have to participate in WDSF ranked events for a chance to compete in the 2024 Olympic Games.

Rankings function the same for all. However, participants registered for Olympic purposes have to compete against, and are ranked with, all who compete in Australian events. Rankings are filtered for AUSBreaking Support Program selections via the Australian Breaking Selection Committee (ABSC).

To be eligible to particpate in the Youth Olympics, participants must be between the ages of 15-18 years old in the year of the Youth Olympics. The next Youth Olympic Games are scheduled for 2026 (Breaking to be confirmed).
To be eligible to participate in the Olympics, participants must be 16 years and over in the year of the Olympic Games. The next Olympic Games are scheduled for 2024.

Only AUSBreaking Battle Series events will be ranked. AUSBreaking will clearly communicate and provide notice of all events that are to be included in the rankings via our events calendar and social media channels as soon as sufficient information is acquired to do so.
