Proudly supported by the Queensland Government through Arts QLD, Elements Collective presents the 2024 INTERNATIONAL BREAKING BOOTCAMP.

The IBB is a 3 day educational dance camp full of workshops, seminars & events to be hosted at the Gold Coast (Tallebudgera) Recreational Centre.

This event will bring together dancers not only from QLD but the Australian and international dance community. By connecting people that might otherwise not have opportunity or accessibility to workshops, teachers & programs like this, the bootcamp creates an opportunity for upcoming local artists to work alongside international and award winning guests.

The aim of these workshops is to inspire & create opportunities for Australian dancers to meet with international leaders, develop skills & network amongst industry peers.

Elements Collective have worked closely for the past 13 years with diverse community groups around QLD providing workshops, program facilitation and mentorships for the local community as well as leadership programs with at-risk and disadvantaged youth, multicultural groups, schools and charity organisations.

Sol + Sonder WDSF Oceania Breaking Camp

This training camp will be aimed at Breaking athletes and coaches, with the goal of dealing in a theoretical-practical manner with the most important issues for the development of the sport in Oceania.

The camp will be led by 2 renowned lecturers in the field of International Breaking.

Breaking, one of the four elements of Hip Hop born in the boroughs of New York in the 1970s. A cultural movement set to debut as the most highly anticipated new sport in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The QMS 2023 WDSF Oceania Breaking Championships (OBC) is set to take place in Sydney, Australia!

This event is an Olympic qualifying event. The winners of the solo Bgirl and solo Bboy disciplines will earn a spot into the Top16 of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Places 2nd-4th in each discipline will earn a spot to compete in the Olympic Qualifier Series, consisting of 3 events in 3 different countries throughout March-June 2024.

Watch the Top 8 of the best in Oceania clash in head-to-head battles to see who will be crowned the Oceania Champions and earn a spot to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games as Breaking Olympians.

The purpose of the WBF is not only to bring the national community together but to shed light on our Australian breaking heroes. Our nation houses some of the best breakers in the world who possess world class knowledge and skill. WBF creates an opportunity for all to learn from these national heroes, gain inspiration, develop skills and sustainable training methods and network amongst peers.
